Svetoslav Vutsov Transfer from Levski Sofia to FC Utrecht
Elite Dutch clubs Utrecht and Twente reportedly sent scouts to observe Levski's goalkeeper Svetoslav Vutsov during their match against AZ Alkmaar in the Conference League playoffs. Vutsov has attracted the attention of these clubs, which also had representatives at the national stadium in Sofia the previous week. The 23-year-old goalkeeper, who transferred to Levski from Slavia and replaced Croatian Matej Markovic as the first-choice keeper, has been performing impressively this season. His performances have been particularly notable on the continental stage, where he maintained clean sheets in regular time until the match against AZ Alkmaar. Although Levski was eliminated from Europe, Vutsov's displays, including saving three penalties against Hapoel Be'er Sheva, have made him a standout player, garnering interest from abroad. Levski has a track record of successfully transferring goalkeepers to the Netherlands, as demonstrated by the sale of youth national player Plamen Andreev to Feyenoord.
