Cádiz is interested in signing 21-year-old French U-20 international Steven Baseya, who also holds DR Congo nationality, on a loan deal that includes a purchase option. Baseya, a central defender who has also played at right-back for Alverca, has had his position at the club become less secure following the arrival of Diogo Spencer.
