FC Lorient is attempting to sign Souleymane Faye, a 23-year-old Senegalese attacking midfielder from Sporting CP, as part of their summer recruitment plans. The club has identified Faye as a target for the attacking midfielder position and has initiated steps to acquire him on a one-season loan. Faye, who has one cap for Senegal and joined Sporting from Granada in January, could leave the Portuguese club temporarily for more playing time after making nine appearances.
