Elche and Rayo have both made inquiries about a potential loan for Sporting CP's 23-year-old Senegalese winger Souleymane Faye. Mallorca had also previously expressed interest in the player in recent months. Faye has one cap for Senegal. He joined Sporting in January 2026 from Granada, with his contract running until 2030. The transfer fee was reported to be €6.5 million.
