Le Havre has announced the signing of Sota Nakamura from Sanfrecce Hiroshima. The 23-year-old Japanese forward is their fourth summer recruit. Nakamura is described as a small player with great technique and valuable speed and is capable of playing as a winger or a striker. He joins after a 2025 season in which he played approximately thirty matches in all competitions for Hiroshima, contributing 5 goals and one assist in the J1 League. The move to France is his first experience in Europe, where he will join compatriot Ayumu Seko and reunite with Kaito Mizuta, whom he knew from their time at Maebashi Ikuei High School.
