Serhou Guirassy Transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Paris Saint Germain

According to CaughtOffside, PSG are considering a potential transfer for Serhou Guirassy, who will be available for €50 million (£44m / $58m) in January due to a release clause in his Dortmund contract. The same report states that PSG are seeking centre-forward recruits after loaning out Randal Kolo Muani to Tottenham Hotspur, and that the Parisians consider Guirassy to be an improvement on Goncalo Ramos.

Arsenal are reportedly set to compete with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain for the signing of Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy. According to CaughtOffside, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing the striker in 2026. Guirassy’s current contract at Dortmund includes a €50 million release clause, which is reportedly only valid for an unspecified selection of top clubs. The 29-year-old has scored 45 goals in 65 games since his arrival at Borussia Dortmund last summer, including 13 in the 2024-25 Champions League campaign.

Mark Brus of 'CaughtOffside' reports in the 'Daily Briefing' that the 50 million euro release clause for Serhou Guirassy could become effective as early as January. According to the same report, Paris St. Germain is considering a move for the Dortmund striker. For clubs not affected by the release clause, a required fee of 80 million euros is reportedly in place. Guirassy's brother and advisor has also offered the center forward in Saudi Arabia to assess potential interest there. In addition, Guirassy has been linked with Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and FC Liverpool.

Paris St. Germain was recently reported to be interested. A release clause of 50 million euros in Guirassy's contract only applies to a few European top clubs.

BILD reported that Paris is likely to consider Serhou Guirassy as a replacement for Kolo Muani in the near future. Guirassy has been identified as the top candidate for this role. Despite the difficulties encountered by Kolo Muani, Luis Enrique is reportedly open to the idea of having a traditional number 9 in the team. Guirassy has achieved an impressive record of 33 goals and 9 assists in 44 matches this season. There is an exit clause in Guirassy's contract, set at 70 million euros, but it only applies to a specific list of clubs, which does not include PSG. The clubs on this list are Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal. It is reported that Guirassy is content at Dortmund, with his contract extending until 2028. According to Transfermarkt, the club values him at 40 million euros and is anticipated to be firm in negotiations.
