Schalke 04 attempted to sign 22-year-old Norwegian attacker Seedy Jatta from Sturm Graz on Deadline Day. However, the transfer could not be finalized before the 20:00 deadline. It is possible that the move's failure was partly due to the unrealized sale of Moussa Sylla. Jatta has been playing for the Graz-based club since 2023, scoring five goals in 30 appearances this season. In the domestic Bundesliga, he has scored three goals in 17 appearances. The forward, who has 10 caps and one goal for Norway's U21 side, has a contract with Sturm Graz until June 2027 and a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.50m.
