Team Talk reports that Eintracht Frankfurt held talks in January to try and secure a deal for Sean Steur, but realised his growing reputation might make him unattainable this summer.

Voetbalprimeur.nl reports that although Eintracht Frankfurt expressed interest and attempted to bring Sean Steur to Germany, the player wants to stay at Ajax.

The German branch of Sky Sport describes Eintracht Frankfurt's interest in Sean Steur as very strong and reports that negotiations with the Ajax top talent are actively underway. The German club sees a lot of potential in the Ajax midfielder. According to Transfermarkt, his current value is 700,000 euro, and it is not known if this is the amount Ajax wants for him.

Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport reported on Monday evening that Eintracht Frankfurt has opened talks with Sean Steur and/or Ajax. It is also reported that the club is aiming for a summer transfer and that Ajax is aware of Eintracht's interest in Sean Steur.
