English second-division club Derby County is reportedly interested in signing 29-year-old Sasa Kalajdzic from Wolverhampton. Derby's interest in the Austrian striker follows a poor start to the season and an injury to their forward Patrick Agyemang. For financial reasons, Derby County would prefer a loan deal. Sasa Kalajdzic is not part of Wolverhampton's future plans under new coach César Peixoto and has been made to train with the U21s. There is also said to be continued interest in the player from clubs in Germany and Italy. Genoa, Sassuolo, and Venezia are among those recently linked. After recently changing his agent, Kalajdzic is hoping for a transfer to a top club, and a decision is expected in the coming days as the transfer window approaches its end. The Austrian international has 25 caps and 5 goals for his country. He joined Wolves from VfB Stuttgart in August 2022 for a reported €18 million and has a contract until June 2027. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €4.00m.
