Club América has signed 24-year-old center-back Santiago Ramos Mingo from EC Bahia to strengthen its defense. According to César Luis Merlo, América's board presented a formal offer for a permanent transfer which was accepted by the Brazilian club. The deal was reportedly closed for a figure near $10 million, and the player is said to have agreed to a four-year contract.
