Saba Sazonov Transfer from Torino to Getafe

Marca reports on the failed transfer of Saba Sazonov to Getafe due to a documentation error by Torino. Saba Sazonov had an agreement with Getafe for a transfer, but the documentation was sent to the wrong email address by Torino. According to his father, Andrea Sazonov, there was an agreement on everything with Getafe, but the error in sending the documents meant the transfer could not be completed before the deadline. When Torino corrected the mistake, it was already past midnight and the transfer window had closed.

Saba Sazonov was unable to transfer on loan to Getafe due to a 120-second delay in the deal. All documents were uploaded at 00:02 Madrid time, after the transfer window in Spain had closed. Initially, Getafe struggled to free up space in the salary budget, and when the deal became possible, a Torino representative incorrectly entered the player's email, which was needed for the transfer registration confirmation code.

The loan transfer to Getafe was canceled in the last minutes of the market because La Liga did not approve the operation due to financial reasons. Saba Sazonov is now out of the Serie A list to make room for Asllani. Torino is now looking for alternative clubs for the Georgian defender, as some markets, including Turkey, Greece, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Switzerland, are still open, according to La Stampa. The 23-year-old's contract with the Italian club is valid until June 2026, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2 million.
