According to @alex_crook, Ryan Giles is now expected to stay at Hull City despite Burnley being in advanced talks.

Burnley made an offer to sign Ryan Giles ahead of the game at Coventry City on Saturday, while Hull City had not decided whether to approve the player's departure. Sergej Jakirovic said that Giles should not be allowed to leave unless an exceptionally high financial offer is made. Jakirovic stated that Giles does not want to leave and has made clear his desire to stay and compete for his position in the Premier League. Jakirovic said there was nothing happening regarding Burnley. He also said that Giles can only leave if Burnley pays £20m. Jakirovic added that if Giles came to him and said he wanted to leave, he would be allowed to go, but stated that the player does not want to leave as he is a Premier League player now.

TalkSPORT reports that Hull has agreed to loan Ryan Giles to Burnley and that the deal is expected to be concluded very soon. Burnley wants to bring Ryan Giles in on loan to strengthen their squad in their attempt to return to the Premier League. Ryan Giles has a contract with Hull until summer 2027, with an option for an additional season.
