Ryan Fosso Transfer from Fortuna Sittard to Sturm Graz
According to Sky Sport, Sturm Graz is close to acquiring Ryan Fosso and will pay a little less than one million euros for him. Coach Danny Buijs stated that Ryan Fosso withdrew from the match squad right before the game, probably due to an upcoming transfer. The transfer would result in a move to Austria.
Sturm Graz are close to signing Ryan Fosso from Dutch top-flight club Fortuna Sittard, with an agreement said to be imminent. The 23-year-old Swiss player is reportedly being signed as a successor for Tochi Chukwuani, for a transfer fee just under one million euros. Fosso, who was trained at Young Boys Bern before moving to the Netherlands via Vaduz, is a number six who can also play as a number eight. He was a regular starter at Fortuna Sittard, playing almost every match for the full duration in the first half of the season. Fosso joined Fortuna Sittard in July 2024 with a contract until June 2026, and he has made 17 appearances with one assist in the Eredivisie this season. The former Switzerland U21 international has also been linked with other clubs, including Borussia Mönchengladbach, Empoli, and Lech Poznań. His market value is listed at €2.00m by Transfermarkt, and Empoli reportedly made a loan proposal with a mandatory purchase option in January 2026.
