Crystal Palace are one of several English clubs observing Union SG's 26-year-old English defender Ross Sykes ahead of the summer transfer window. Crystal Palace, Everton, Leeds United, and Coventry City have all sent scouts to watch the centre-back this season. Sykes's hometown club, Burnley, is also said to be observing his progress. The Belgian side has the player under contract until 2027, and the club holds an option for an additional year. Sykes joined the Belgian club in July 2022 and has made 17 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €2.50m.
