Coventry City are among a number of English clubs interested in Union SG's 26-year-old English defender Ross Sykes. Coventry City, Leeds United, Everton, Crystal Palace, and his hometown club Burnley have all sent scouts to observe him this season. The Belgian club is in a strong negotiating position as Sykes's contract runs until 2027, with an option for an additional year. Sykes, who joined the club in July 2022, has made 17 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. His current valuation is €2.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
