Romário Baró is loaned to Basileia with a purchase option of €1.85 million.

FC Porto announced the departure of Romário Baró. The Portuguese midfielder, aged 24, has been officially announced as the latest reinforcement for the Swiss club, Basileia. FC Porto receives a fixed fee of 150,000 euros for the loan, with an additional 350,000 euros in objectives. There is also a purchase option of 1.5 million euros for 70% of the player's rights.

Romário Baró is also expected to leave FC Porto before the summer transfer window closes.

Romário Baró is not going to be part of the squad for the 2024/25 season. FC Porto is looking for a definitive exit for the player, admitting to keep part of the economic rights. There are some inquiries from the Liga, but no concrete proposals yet. Baró's contract with FC Porto ends in 2026. Last season, he played only 17 games for the club.
