São Paulo is close to renewing the contract of Brazilian midfielder Rodriguinho, 21 years old. The current deal runs until December 2026. Negotiations are underway to extend it until 2028 or 2029. The release clauses are currently R$ 90 million for the domestic market and US$ 40 million (R$ 215.65 million) for international transfers. The new release clauses will be higher, according to sources. ESPN reports that the talks are advanced and the renewal is very close to being signed.
