Arsenal are considered the favourites to sign 20-year-old Spanish Elche midfielder Rodrigo Mendoza, but the competition to sign him remains open with Spurs, Chelsea and Man City also keen. Mendoza's contract includes a release clause valued at £17.5m. The midfielder, who joined Elche in July 2023, has a contract until 2028 and a current market value of €9.00m according to Transfermarkt. He has made 9 appearances in LaLiga this season, scoring one goal, and has been capped four times for Spain's U21 team.
