Rodrigo Echeverría Transfer from Huracán to River Plate
Rodrigo Echeverría is reportedly being considered by River Plate for the 2025 transfer market. Huracán is said to have not engaged in discussions with other clubs regarding Echeverría yet, as they are awaiting the conclusion of the local tournament. It was previously reported that Huracán had demanded approximately 5 million dollars for his transfer, although this may change if Huracán secures their first long championship since 1973. It is also noted that River Plate has not yet approached them.
Marcelo Gallardo, the current coach of River Plate, has shown interest in Rodrigo Echeverría, a Chilean defender who has been playing for Huracán since mid-2023. Gallardo has asked the club's management to initiate negotiations for bringing the defender to River Plate. Echeverría is regarded as a crucial player for bolstering the team's defense, with his leadership, versatility, aerial skills, and international experience with the Chilean national team being highly appreciated.
