Roberto Firmino leaving Al Ahli?

Roberto Firmino, currently playing for Al-Ahli, has received an attractive offer from Al-Sadd, the reigning champions of Qatar. A response to this offer is awaited.

Roberto Firmino will leave Al-Ahli this summer, with the Saudi Arabian side's president confirming an agreement to terminate his contract.

Roberto Firmino, a former Liverpool player, was a major signing for Al Ahli last season. However, following the acquisition of Galeno, he has been excluded from the team participating in the Saudi Pro League matches. He will only be available for the Asian Champions League games. As a result, there is speculation that a club might try to acquire him, possibly bringing him back to Europe.

To register Galeno in the Saudi league, Al Ahli had to remove Roberto Firmino from their squad, as only eight foreign players (non-U21) can be registered in the Saudi Pro League. Firmino can only play for Al Ahli in the AFC Champions League until the end of the season.

Roberto Firmino, currently playing for Al-Ahly, is being pushed towards a move as his coach, Matthias Jaissle, wants to attract a left winger and possibly a midfielder. Firmino, with a contract until June 2026, can refuse to leave. A return to Brazil is also considered a possibility for Firmino, who recently became an evangelical pastor.
