Roberto Fernández Transfer from Sporting Braga to VfB Stuttgart

Mundo Deportivo has reported that Stuttgart is interested in signing Roberto Fernández and is prepared to outbid Espanyol to secure his transfer. Stuttgart, a German club, is among those willing to offer Sporting de Braga a higher transfer fee and a more lucrative salary package for the player than Espanyol is offering. The official valuation of Roberto Fernández currently stands at 45 million euros, which is significantly higher than Espanyol's purchase option of 10 million euros. Although Roberto has indicated his desire to remain with Espanyol, the club has only proposed a 4 million euro offer to Sporting de Braga, which is considerably below the buyout clause. Stuttgart, along with other clubs with stronger financial capabilities, has the chance to negotiate directly with Sporting de Braga, as all clubs now have equal opportunities to secure the player's services for the upcoming season. Additionally, Roberto Fernández is set to participate in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, which could potentially boost his market value further. This scenario places Espanyol at a disadvantage in their efforts to retain the promising young player.
