Ro-Zangelo Daal, a 21-year-old Dutch winger, wanted a loan to another club due to his reserve role after losing his starting position to Isak Jensen. In the 2025/2026 season, he has made 10 Eredivisie appearances and scored one goal. The chance of Daal leaving on loan is now considered to have disappeared following the dismissal of Maarten Martens and the appointment of Leeroy Echteld. Daal, who has been capped three times for the Netherlands U21 team, has a contract with AZ Alkmaar until June 2030 and a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.50m. FC Volendam was recently linked with a move for the player.
