French newspaper L'Équipe has reported that Monaco is showing interest in the 19-year-old Brazilian forward Rayan. However, no official offer has been made to Vasco da Gama, particularly not at the internally projected value of 25 million euros. Vasco views Rayan as their primary asset amid financial challenges and has set a high asking price to discourage potential buyers. Additionally, the club's director of football, Admar Lopes, has indicated that they wish to retain Rayan until the end of the year unless his international transfer release clause of 80 million euros is activated. Transfermarkt estimates the player's current market value to be around €14 million. Despite interest from clubs such as Monaco and Al Ahli, Rayan is focusing on a move to Europe and is not interested in transferring to a smaller market like Saudi Arabia. His contract with Vasco is valid until December 2026.
