According to Bolavip, Chelsea have been underwhelmed by 19-year-old midfielder Kendry Páez and are now looking to sell him back to a South American team. The club's goal is to recoup as much of their €20 million ($22 million) investment as possible. Should a sale fail, a loan to an English Championship side would be considered.

Kendry Paez is ready to leave Chelsea during the winter transfer window, according to Nicolo Schira.

According to the BBC, Chelsea had tried to place Kendry Paez abroad, but was forced to keep him in London because the club had exhausted the six international loan slots prescribed by FIFA.

According to Fabrizio Romano's understanding, Chelsea could sell Kendry Paez, a 19-year-old Ecuadorian attacking midfielder, at the earliest possible opportunity. He joined the club in July 2025 and has a contract that runs until 2033. The Ecuadorian international has 27 caps and 2 goals for his country. His current Transfermarkt market value is €8.00m. Several clubs have been recently linked with a move for the player, including River Plate, Norwich City, Celtic, and Blackburn Rovers.
