Raúl Fernández Transfer from Mirandés to Deportivo Alavés
According to Mundo Deportivo, Raúl Fernández has transferred to Deportivo Alavés for the 2025/26 season. At 37 years of age, Fernández activated his release clause from Mirandés to make the move. He had an impressive season in LALIGA HYPERMOTION, participating in 46 official matches and proving himself as one of the category's most dependable goalkeepers. With 243 matches under his belt in both the Primera and Segunda División, Fernández has previously played for teams such as Real Valladolid, Levante UD, Granada CF, UD Las Palmas, and CD Mirandés. The transfer was prompted by Deportivo Alavés' need to find a replacement for Jesús Owono, who, despite renewing his contract until 2029, was loaned out to Andorra. Raúl Fernández will be under the management of 'Chacho' Coudet, as stated in the club's official announcement.
