One of his remaining options in the city is Brentford, a club that has previously shown a willingness to recruit senior players and has benefited from Jordan Henderson's leadership this season. However, a significant financial obstacle exists, as Brentford would struggle to approach Sterling's former salary from Chelsea, which was in the region of £325,000 per week. Henderson is believed to be Brentford's highest earner, with wages that are less than a quarter of what Sterling was making. Other London clubs including Crystal Palace, Fulham and West Ham United have also been recently linked with the player.
