Chelsea owners BlueCo are monitoring Lens' 21-year-old French youth international defender Ismaelo Ganiou amid widespread interest from across Europe. City Football Group, Manchester City's parent company, is also monitoring the player. It is said that several other Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Fulham, and Brentford, watched the centre-back during 2026. Further interest in Ganiou is reported to come from Paris Saint-Germain, Marseille, and Monaco in France, Atalanta and Como in Italy, and the German sides Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig. Ganiou joined Lens in July 2025 and has a contract until 2030. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €30 million.
