According to Sportske novosti, Petar Bočkaj is close to departing Dinamo Zagreb due to interest from Vukovar '91 and a possible move to Varaždin. Bočkaj's contract with Dinamo is valid until January 2027. He was on loan at Pafos previously, but the club did not exercise the purchase option. Transfermarkt values Bočkaj at 700 thousand euros, although his market value had peaked at 2.5 million euros in late 2021. Despite Dinamo signing him for 2.7 million euros in January 2022 as a major reinforcement following his outstanding performance at Osijek, he found it challenging to earn a regular position in the team, which resulted in his loan to Pafos. Upon his return to Dinamo, he failed to secure a place under several managers, including Sergej Jakirović, Nenad Bjelica, Fabio Cannavaro, and Sandro Perković. Throughout his career in the SHNL, he has scored 22 goals and provided 43 assists in 216 appearances, with his last match for Dinamo being a loss to Lokomotiva on December 14, 2024.
