Chelsea are reportedly interested in Barcelona youngster Dro Fernandez. Reports from Spain indicate the 18-year-old has informed his club of his desire to leave this month. Fernandez told manager Hansi Flick on Friday morning that numerous clubs are willing to activate his €6 million release clause and that he wishes to pursue an opportunity elsewhere, although he has not yet decided on his next team. Barcelona is still trying to convince him to change his mind, with talk of a potential final contract offer. According to Ben Jacobs, Chelsea, Man City, and Borussia Dortmund are among the clubs trying to sign him, and Jacobs also mentioned that unnamed French clubs are competing to sign him. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano suggested a move to England was less likely and indicated a potential surprise could occur. While Romano did not completely rule out a transfer to the Premier League, he suggested it would be surprising if Fernandez were to join Chelsea or Man City. Romano also ruled out a move within Spain.
