Paulo Dybala Transfer from Roma to Benfica

Benfica is reportedly interested in acquiring 31-year-old Argentine forward Paulo Dybala to bolster their squad for the upcoming season. Although negotiations have not yet commenced, Benfica has communicated to Dybala's representatives their readiness to present an offer to Roma. The situation is anticipated to develop in the coming weeks, as Roma and Dybala will need to make decisions based on the offers concerning his transfer fee and salary. This news, originating from Portugal, could potentially alter the circumstances for Roma. Despite the apparent security of Dybala's future at Roma, with both the player and the club having previously indicated stability, the prospect of an offer from Benfica might change the current scenario. Additionally, Gian Piero Gasperini is expected to have a role in deciding whether Dybala remains available on the market. Dybala's contract, valid until June 30, 2026, includes a release clause of €12 million for foreign clubs, while his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €8.00 million. The player has also been linked with Al Hilal and Boca Juniors.
