The defensive midfielder, Oussama El Azzouzi, has been officially signed by AJ Auxerre on a loan for one season from Bologna. The move comes a few months before the African Cup of Nations, where the Moroccan international will look to regain form.

L'Équipe reports on the impending loan transfer of Oussama El Azzouzi from Bologne to AJ Auxerre. Oussama El Azzouzi, a 24-year-old Moroccan midfielder currently playing for Bologne, is set to join AJ Auxerre on a one-year loan without a purchase option. The agreement between El Azzouzi and Auxerre was reached last week, and the move is expected to be finalized once the remaining details between the two clubs are settled. El Azzouzi has been with Bologne for two seasons but has struggled for playing time, appearing in only 23 matches.

Oussama El Azzouzi is a target for 1. FC Nürnberg. The player is contracted with FC Bologna until 2027. Talks between 1. FC Nürnberg and El Azzouzi have reportedly already taken place. El Azzouzi joined Bologna in 2023 from Union Saint-Gilloise but has not had a breakthrough. He played only 23 matches in two years and was hindered by a knee injury last season.

Bologna has decided to loan Oussama El Azzouzi to another team that can offer him a significant role and the opportunity to play in a competitive league. This decision is made to help him regain his top form after a season with many absences due to injuries. El Azzouzi has a contract with Bologna until June 30, 2027, with an option for an additional year, and he is willing to temporarily move to achieve more playing time.

Bologna is willing to listen to offers for El Azzouzi, especially after the return of Ferguson to the squad.

Oussama El Azzouzi has joined the Moroccan national team training camp to participate in the Olympic Games.
