Óscar Perea, a 20-year-old Colombian winger, has joined América on loan from the French club Strasbourg and is the club's first signing for the Clausura 2026. The deal includes an option to buy, and the player is intended to reinforce the attack for coach Guillermo Almada. Perea, who recently played for AVS in Portugal, was at América's facilities on Monday to undergo medical examinations and finalize the details of his transfer. He has four caps for the Colombia U23 national team, and his contract with Strasbourg runs until June 30, 2029. Strasbourg acquired him in July 2024 from Atlético Nacional for a fee reported to be €3.5 million plus €1 million in bonuses. His current market value is €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
