German second-division club SpVgg Greuther Fürth announced the signing of winger Ole Pohlmann on a contract until 2029. The 25-year-old returns to his home country from Rio Ave, where he had one year remaining on his contract after spending the last two seasons with the Portuguese side, making 66 appearances and scoring two goals. Pohlmann was developed at Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund, and made his Bundesliga debut with the latter club before his transfer to Vila do Conde. The player told the German club's channels that he was very happy to be able to play in Germany again and was looking forward to meeting his teammates to approach the new season together. Pohlmann has represented Germany at the U18 level, earning four caps, and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.50m.
