Club Brugge and PSV are reportedly interested in signing twenty-year-old Mexican-American midfielder Obed Vargas from the Seattle Sounders, according to Seattle Sounders watcher Niko Moreno. The interest from the Netherlands is not new, as MLS expert Tom Bogert had previously stated in February that multiple Eredivisie clubs were pursuing the player. Vargas's contract with his current club is valid until December of this year, but the Seattle Sounders retain an option for an additional year. The player's estimated market value is eight million euros. A product of the club's academy, Vargas has no previous transfer history.
