Paul Scholes said that Noussair Mazraoui should be sold. Scholes stated he does not know the player's role, noting Mazraoui has been like a right-sided centre-half and the team does not play with three centre-halves anymore. Scholes added that if there were three centre-halves then Mazraoui would probably be one of five or six, but he thinks it is probably time for him to be sold.

The arrival of Julian Ryerson could lead to one of Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui remaining as a back-up, with the other being sold.

Noussair Mazraoui is not considered untouchable at Manchester United, and the club is open to selling him for the right price.
