PSV is contemplating making an offer of approximately four million euros, including bonuses, for defender Nobel Mendy. Earlier reports from Eindhovens Dagblad and Voetbal International indicated that PSV would need to propose several million to persuade Real Betis. According to the Spanish outlet Relevo, the Dutch champions are in the process of preparing a bid. Mendy has been a regular player towards the end of the La Liga season but might be permitted to leave Betis. It is reported that Manuel Pellegrini has concerns regarding Mendy's fitness. Furthermore, there is competition from Belgium for Mendy's signature, although PSV is believed to have a strong opportunity due to their direct qualification for the Champions League.
