Elche made an offer for Nilson Angulo, a 22-year-old Ecuadorian winger, which was rejected by Anderlecht, with whom he is under contract until June 2027. Angulo mentioned that he is 99.9% sure he will stay at Anderlecht. Anderlecht is not willing to let him go now as they hope for a higher future transfer fee. Angulo is valued at 2 million euros by Transfermarkt, but his value could increase after a good season and potential World Cup participation with Ecuador. Several other clubs, including Liverpool and Sparta Praha, have also been recently linked with the player.
