Negotiations are ongoing between Eintracht Frankfurt and Süper Lig club Konyaspor for the transfer of Niels Nkounkou, and significant progress has reportedly been made. The 25-year-old French and Congolese left-back was on loan at FC Turin last season. It is reported that he has no future at the Frankfurt club, despite his contract running until 2028. Eintracht Frankfurt had signed Nkounkou three years ago from AS St.-Étienne for €7.5 million. The former France U21 international has 6 caps for the team.
