It is reported that Arsenal are interested in signing Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi, as his outstanding Champions League form has attracted attention from several major European clubs. A Sport Witness report states that Arsenal are among the main contenders to sign the 23-year-old. Arsenal might view Tresoldi as a long-term solution in attack, particularly if the future of Viktor Gyokeres at the Emirates becomes uncertain. It will not be easy to convince Club Brugge to approve his departure. The Belgian club reportedly rejected a €35 million offer from Roma in the summer and valued the striker at approximately €60 million. His recent Champions League performances could increase that valuation, which would make negotiations difficult for interested clubs. Arsenal will also face competition from Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, which have reportedly been monitoring the forward. Arsenal’s existing relationship with Club Brugge might prove useful.
