Nico O'Reilly: Manchester City Contract Extension

Nico O'Reilly has signed a new long-term contract with Manchester City. An agreement over a new deal had already been reached at the end of July. O'Reilly's new terms will run until 2030.

Manchester City have officially announced that Nico O'Reilly has extended his contract until June 2030. The club stated they are delighted to announce that O'Reilly has extended his contract at City until 2030.

Nico O'Reilly is on the verge of securing a new contract with Manchester City, which will see his salary double to £25,000-a-week, effectively deterring Chelsea from making further attempts to sign him. Chelsea had made an effort to acquire O'Reilly in January, but their offer did not succeed. Manchester City is eager to prevent the loss of another home-grown talent to Chelsea following Cole Palmer's successful transfer. Negotiations for a contract extension have been underway for several weeks, with the aim of committing O'Reilly to the Etihad for the next five years, including incremental salary increases and bonuses.
