According to TEAMtalk, Manchester City are interested in a potential deal for Atletico Madrid's Marcos Llorente, whose contract is due to expire next summer. City are monitoring the situation and view the 31-year-old Spanish international as an option who could bring versatility and proven experience to Enzo Maresca’s squad. The interest from England also includes Liverpool and Chelsea, with a primary reason for the interest being Llorente's ability to play at both right-back and in central midfield. Despite the Premier League interest, Atletico Madrid are already in talks with the player over a new contract, and it is reported they are very confident an agreement will be reached. The situation is also said to be watched by Bayern Munich and Barcelona. Llorente has 27 caps for Spain, joined Atlético de Madrid in July 2019, and has a current market value of €20.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
