Blau-Weiß Linz will sign former Salzburg goalkeeper Nico Mantl on loan from FC Arouca until the end of the season. The club, currently last in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, was looking for a replacement for the injured Viktor Baier. The 25-year-old German played in eight league games for the Portuguese top-tier club this season but was not in the squad for the last two rounds. FC Arouca has already confirmed the loan on its social media channels, but Blau-Weiß Linz has not yet commented on the move. His contract with FC Arouca runs until June 30, 2028. The goalkeeper has four caps for the Germany U21 team and his current market value is €1.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
