Sky Sports reported that Napoli have the strongest interest in Nick Woltemade. According to Napoli Magazine, Napoli continued discussions with both Newcastle and Woltemade’s representatives on Saturday. Fabrizio Romano indicated that a transfer could become more realistic if Napoli first reduce their squad size, particularly through a Noa Lang departure. Newcastle would require a significant loan fee for Nick Woltemade to leave, as he is under contract until June 2031. Newcastle are also willing to keep him if their conditions are not satisfied. The potential agreement being discussed is a loan with a significant fee, and possibly performance-related bonuses.

Nick Woltemade wants to leave Newcastle United before the summer transfer window closes. A report from Football Fancast states that Napoli are interested in signing the German international striker and that he has asked Newcastle to let him leave. Napoli want to sign him on loan and want Newcastle to cover a percentage of his wages for the transfer to be completed. Nick Woltemade's current earnings at Newcastle United are around €4.5 million per season.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Napoli made contact with Newcastle over the last 24 hours to ask about Nick Woltemade's availability on a loan deal. Napoli has an easier option available with Marc Guiu from Chelsea but have also explored Woltemade. The decision rests with Newcastle United.

Napoli has contacted Newcastle regarding a potential loan deal for 24-year-old German striker Nick Woltemade. Newcastle signed Woltemade one year ago for 75 million euros, and his contract runs until 2031. Several other clubs, including VfB Stuttgart, RB Leipzig, and Borussia Dortmund, have also been recently linked with the forward.
