Napoli has contacted Newcastle United regarding a potential loan deal for 24-year-old German striker Nick Woltemade. The inquiry was made in the last 24 hours to check the forward's availability, according to Fabrizio Romano. Newcastle signed Woltemade one year ago for 75 million euros, and his contract runs until 2031. Following Napoli's inquiry, the decision on whether to agree to a temporary move is now for the Premier League club to make.
Napoli is also working on a deal for Marc Guiu of Chelsea, which is considered a simpler option. Woltemade has 12 caps and 4 goals for Germany, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €55.00m. Additionally, several other clubs, including VfB Stuttgart, RB Leipzig, and Borussia Dortmund, have been recently linked with the forward.
