Nathan Kabongo, a 21-year-old Belgian and DR Congolese striker, has signed a professional contract with Antwerp, which marks a return to professional football for the player. Kabongo joins from third-division club Olsa Brakel, where he scored thirteen goals and provided four assists in twenty-three matches this season. He previously played in the youth systems of professional clubs including Patro Eisden, KMSK Deinze, and RWDM, and also made three appearances for Deinze in the Challenger Pro League. Antwerp announced that Kabongo will initially join the Young Reds, their reserve team that plays in the second national division.
