Chelsea and Manchester City are both increasing their interest in Anderlecht's Nathan De Cat. Intermediaries are now informing clubs, including Chelsea and Man City, that Anderlecht could face a major decision this summer as the player turns 18 and becomes eligible for a move across Europe. According to sources, Chelsea’s ownership group, BlueCo, and the City Football Group have been closely monitoring his progress in recent weeks, and his performances impressed scouts from both clubs. The 17-year-old midfielder, who has already made his senior debut for Belgium, is also being tracked by other Premier League sides, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham having watched him earlier in the season. Despite this, significant competition may come from Germany, where Bayern Munich are said to have a strong interest, potentially using Vincent Kompany's connections as a factor, while Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also interested. De Cat's contract with Anderlecht runs until June 30, 2027, and he has a current Transfermarkt market value of €25.00m.
