It is reported that Aston Villa view the 17-year-old as an ideal long-term partner for Boubacar Kamara. The fee for the player, who has 10 goal contributions this season, is expected to be approximately £31 million, inclusive of bonuses. It is said that both Aston Villa and Tottenham have the financial capability to meet the asking price. German champions Bayern Munich are also interested and have reportedly initiated formal conversations with the midfielder's representatives. De Cat has one cap and one goal for the Belgium U18 national team, is under contract until June 2027, and has a current market value of €7.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
