Nahuel Ferraresi Transfer from São Paulo to Botafogo
ESPN reports that there is interest from Botafogo in Nahuel Ferraresi. According to ESPN, any move for the Venezuelan is currently superficial and has not reached the stage of an inquiry to the club about possible negotiation terms. Ferraresi is considered one of Hernan Crespo's trusted players and is part of the coach's plans for 2026. However, he is not considered non-transferable if a significant offer comes in for the club and the player.
Botafogo has made an inquiry in recent days for São Paulo's Nahuel Ferraresi, a 27-year-old Venezuelan-Italian defender who has 42 caps for the Venezuelan national team. São Paulo, which is undergoing a squad overhaul, is reportedly open to player exits, provided they are for significant fees or involve a player exchange. Ferraresi, who has been with the club since 2022, has a contract until the end of 2027 and a current market value of €5.00m, according to Transfermarkt. The search for a right-sided defender is a priority for Botafogo, which previously had a proposal for Grêmio's Viery rejected.
