Botafogo is negotiating to sign 20-year-old Argentinian forward Fabricio Pérez from Estudiantes, as the club aims to complete its squad in the last week of the transfer window. The proposal from the Rio de Janeiro club is for a loan with a purchase option for the player, who is valued at 2 million euros. Pérez's primary position is on the right wing, but he has also played on the opposite side of the attack. He joined Estudiantes in January 2025, and his contract is valid until the end of 2027.
