Amid several rumors linking him to English clubs, Yassir Zabiri has assured that he is fully focused on his time with Racing Santander and considers it too early to think about a possible departure. Zabiri stated that he is happy at his club and is only focused on his performances with them. He added that he is not thinking of any offers and that it is much too early.

The management is considering a loan for next season for the 21-year-old Moroccan centre-forward. This solution would offer Yassir Zabiri regular playing time in a less competitive environment, allowing him to gain experience before once again competing for a starting position at Rennes. Zabiri, who joined the club in February 2026, has made 3 appearances in Ligue 1 this season, recording 0 goals and 0 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €9.00m.
